There are 3 ways to move a task in Beesbusy:
- From the What tab
- Drag and drop
- Using the task menu
Moving a task from the What tab
Go to the task you want to move.
Click on the drop-down menu arrow to access the different task lists in the project.
All you have to do is click on the task list you want to move the task to.
With this method, you can only move a task within a project.
Moving a task using drag & drop
From the What view of a project, you can drag and drop a task, either within the project or to another project.
Click on the task you wish to move, hold down the click and drag the task to the desired project.

Good to know: when you move a task to another project, the moved task is moved by default to the first task list in the targeted project.
Move a task to another project using the menu
This menu is located in the top right-hand corner of the task details and on the task in the What view .
Good to know: moving a task to another project using this menu allows you to choose the destination task list within the chosen targeted project.
After clicking on Move, this window opens:
It allows you to select the targeted project from all the projects to which you have access, and to choose the destination task list within that project.
Once you have confirmed that you have moved the task, a message appears at the bottom of the window confirming that you have moved the task.
All the task data is moved with the task:
– Assigned times
– Comments
– Assigned members
– Labels
– …
